Section VIII: ID-Lines

All Vast Empire Navy members are requested to use the ID Line system, as detailed below, in all official Naval correspondence for identification purposes. The use of the ID Lines will help all of us quickly identify the author of a particular message or Newsletter submission. This will become increasingly more important as the Fleet expands its membership. Consequently, the Naval Commander in Chief requests that all Members use to the format presented below to maintain consistency within the Fleet.

The following will specify the complete ID Line for Member use:

[position]/[rank][name]/[squadron] [placement]/[wing]/[ship]/[fleet]/VEN/VE/(aviation certificates) (medals)

i.e. "Squadron Commander, Lt. Commander Wayne, Steel 1, Wing 2, ISD Vernichtung, Offensive Fleet" would be specified as:

SC/LCM Wayne/Steel 1/Wing 2/ISD Vernichtung/OFF/VEN/VE/[aviation certificate] (medals)
